I don’t understand what’s so terrible about Mike having cosmetic surgery on his nose… He wasn’t the first (nor last) famous person to do that. As he said, even Elvis had his nose done but nobody talks about it.

I think his upbringing was what amplified his concern about his appearance more than anything else, especially the verbal abuse of his father since he was a little boy. As successful as he was at such a young age, he was essentially conditioned to have an extremely critical attitude towards the way he looked. I blame Joe Jackson, who had blue eyes, and must’ve convinced his kids the more black you look the worse off you are in life. Michael wasn’t the only one in his family to get nose jobs.
