    @lordvore :-)

  2. DavidMiller1991 Says:

    @Anomiman u sound like a fool

  3. lordvore Says:

@fpsurgeon It’s common to quote the Bible to back up a fallacious statement, some people just forget the bit where they have to actually quote something. They probably watched an episode of ‘Nip Tuck’

  4. fpsurgeon Says:

@Anomiman Perhaps your surgeon was some kind of liar, but what you describe is not even remotely close to the way it’s actually done (at least by a competent surgeon here in the U.S.). As for the “mortal sin” part, not sure where you’re getting that from.

  5. Anomiman Says:

do not do a nose job ever , ever , it is all lies and deception first class, it is also a mortal sin and you will suffer consequences especially at an old age … yeah , I have watched it live , it is not like this video no no no , they showe a metal rod into your nostrils and break the nose as if it is a spare tire , I threw up three times and wanna threow up now when i remember it , never do it ever .

  6. fpsurgeon Says:

@Naoufalitos24 I usually recommend against blowing the nose for at least a week (sometimes two) post-op.

  7. Naoufalitos24 Says:

so you can blow your nose after having the surgery or you have to be very carefull not to break anything ?

  8. maineymob1 Says:

    How much would this cost?
    thanks!

  9. PurpleDeenasaur Says:

  10. benjiluvyuri Says:

  11. KeezyXX Says:

Hello, Im 16 years old and about 3 or 4 years ago I broke my nose or fractured it without knowing playing basketball, I thought it was just a nose bleed. Few days later I noticed a hump on the bridge of my nose, and it is still there now. I dont like it, It doesnt make me ugly, but its real noticable from the sides, I have a habit of knocking on my nose nd it makes a little crackling sound, I play basketball and want the surgery so I was wondering wats the Recovery time? nd is it a good idea

  12. darjasoko Says:

    i hate my nosee Dx

  13. ukiezlilqute Says:

im 19 and have always been self conscious about my nose, mainly the hump. i would want to have a straight nose and regain my self esteem. i dont know if there will be any scaring and i havent sought out any specialists yet. does the shape of the nose change during ones lifetime? how much is the average procedure? it appears to be semi invasive and im worried about what could happen afterword, like nerve damage and scaring.

  14. DaRkNess1400 Says:

yeah If you’re nose is ugly , you can always get a nose job , but it wont be the original you , and that’s kinda disappointing , besides when you have kids , the probabilities of they having your same ugly nose are big(as their nose)

  15. fpsurgeon Says:

@musicloverrxoxo Insurance will typically cover a “closed reduction” of a broken nose, i.e., the nose will be restored to its pre-injury appearance, hump and all. And if some unscrupulous surgeon is willing to defraud the insurance company by billing a rhinoplasty as non-cosmetic you can guess the quality of his work. Better to save your money and get it done right when you’re old enough.

  16. musicloverrxoxo Says:

yea im 14 and ew i just hate my face so much, mostly my NOSE! i have been wanting to get this done for like a year and a half and im already saving up . my nose isnt really that bad, it just has a bump on it and i HATE IT, i always hide my face everywhere, in school in my house just everywhere i go. i want to break my nose so bad becasue i heard its free if your nose is broken and insurance covers it. is that true?

  17. monitomic Says:

@b1ackic3 wikipedia human nose is not an average one at all

  18. fpsurgeon Says:

@Gannondalf Many of the better surgical practices will indeed do some pre-op morphing to give you an idea of what is possible and to make sure that you and the surgeon share the same aesthetic goals about your nose.

It’s important, though, that the surgeon morphs your photos into something realistically possible and not just an unattainable ideal.

  19. Gannondalf Says:

definitely something im going to do when i am older (im 19 now). my nose doesnt really fit my face… the expense is out of the question at the moment though.

i hope they have a way to show me how it will look afterwards…. i dont want to spend all the money and look worse.

  20. fpsurgeon Says:

@midnightcinderell4 Your premise is all wrong. Non-caucasian people are most definitely *not* “considered ugly in this world.” If anything, both the trend in advertising, media, modeling, AND plastic surgery has been much more toward preserving, enhancing, and incorporating so-called “ethnic” features and less WASP-like features. It really reflects a greater worldwide awareness of the beautiful variations of the human face. My only suggestion would be to re-examine *why* you’d like to change.

  21. midnightcinderell4 Says:

I have an Asian (specifically Filipino) nose, and I want to look more European/Caucasian because apparently non-White people are considered ugly in this world, so what would you suggest I should do and how much will it cost? I live in Canada and I’m 21 years old, female.

  22. MUSICisLIFE1429 Says:

@MariiaaSheeeps im 15 & for my alot of my life i have been made fun of for having a big nose.i recently just stopped being insecure about it. i met this girl and she used to have so many image issues regarding her nose as well. she inspired me so much just to accept who i am. i was always afraid people would think im ugly and they wouldnt like me for having a big nose.then i realized,if theydont like me because i have a big nose why would i want to be friends with them.appearance isnt everything

  23. nemanja740 Says:

i had a rhinosepto plastyy exactly a week ago bcuz i broke my nose and made it crooked. my breathing as afful and the fact that it as crooked made me really pised off at times.. i went and talked to a doc who said i broke my nasal bones and in order to fi my nose ill have to have septorhino, i did and im raeally happy with it, je made my nose just as it was str8 and i can breathe even tho its been only a week pretey good, if this happend to u get surgery insurance will pay for it :-)

  24. fpsurgeon Says:

@MariiaaSheeeps Thirteen is much too young to consider a rhinoplasty. The minimum age for a cosmetic rhinoplasty is dependent on the patient’s overall facial maturity. Once a patient’s face no longer has significant pediatric features and has more of an adult appearance, rhinoplasty can be considered. At the youngest, this is around 16 years old for females. Equally important (if not more so) is the patient’s health and emotional maturity. Wait a few more years to see how your face develops.

  25. MariiaaSheeeps Says:

Hi Dr.Pearson.im 13 and i know you may not take me seriously rite now.But i am vey insecure about my nose.I have thought seriously about getting a nose job as soon as i can. What is the most minimum age possible.?
